Coffee Mornings!

Glooptopia coffee mornings

Join Oozing Gloop for a relaxed and informal gathering exploring new ways to think about the future. Immerse yourself into the scrying of coffee stains. Where an accidental divination system is used to ride a highway to new worlds!

Glooptopia Coffee mornings have occurred at:

The De LA Warr Pavilion, Bexhill as part of Knotty festival, organised by Home Live Art.

MAC, Fierce Festival, Birmingham, Oct 2019

Homotopia festival, Liverpool, Nov 2019

This project is a direct challenge to the notion that people with Autism “struggle with social imagination” and also to the simple fact it’s easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism. We have a wealth of apocalyptic omens, disaster movies and critique; but zero 21st century post-capital-culture. Oozing Gloop defies this with revolutionary zeal and determination to open radical new spheres of imagination and fantasy!

Oozing Gloop is the only disabled artist in the UK using drag in conjunction with chaos magic to engineer public political spectacle. In their unique brand of “queer alchemy” the personal is political and everything a body experiences is used to challenge the profane geometry that stops those experiences being better.
